KOL NIDRE AND AN UNACCOUNTABLE CORPORATE CULTURE IN DC

The Kol Nidre is a prayer named for its opening words (All vows). This prayer is based on the declaration of the Talmud. He who wishes that his vows and oaths shall be of no value, stand up at the beginning of the year and say: All vows which I make during the year shall be of no value. The prayer which is an ancient custom or religious practice appears in full in the volume of revised Festival Prayers, published in 1919 by Hebrew Publishing Company, New York.
